The Cykor, alternatively known as Sasorigesu (サソリゲス Sasori-Gesu?) is an extraterrestrial reptile and scorpion-like kaiju that first appeared in the 1999 film, Reptilian.
Appearance[]
Cykor is a six-limbed reptilian alien kaiju with a centaur-like appearance, with four elephant-like legs for walking and a pair of arms sporting crustacean-like pincer claws. It has carapace-like armor, tube-like structures emerging from its back, a four-pronged tail, and a lizard-like head with a wide mouth and long curved tusks protruding from the sides of its mouth, which can open and close like insect mandibles. If its limbs are severed, it can extend long segmented tentacles from the stumps.

Reptilian[]
Yonggary in Reptilian
After the gem on Yonggary's forehead was destroyed, the aliens lost control over Yonggary who reverted to his original, peaceful personality who refused to attack humans. In response, the aliens sent Cykor in a beam of light, who then emerged and engaged Yonggary in combat. Yonggary initially had the upper hand, but after blasting off one of Cykor's pincers, the alien kaiju then extended long tentacles from the stump and electrocuted Yonggary with them. Yonggary eventually recovers and decapitates Cykor, but the monster still does not die and extends even more tentacles from the stump of its neck. Yonggary however bites them off and fires a blast of flame into Cykor's neck stump, causing Cykor to explode and finally killing it.
Roar[]
Yonggary's 1967 roar was made in a similar way to Barugon's roar, but also some of Yonggary's were re-used from Barugon as well.
Yongary's 1999 roars were made with using animal sound effects. Some sound effects from The Deadly Mantis were also used for Yongary in Reptilian, King Kong in 1976, and Gamera in Gamera the Brave.
Abilities[]
Fire Beams/Fireballs[]
Cykor can breath concentrated beams/balls of fire out of his mouth.
Electric Bolts[]
Cykor can discharge bolts of electricity from its forked tail.
Snapping Claws[]
Cykor's uppermost pair of arms are equipped with powerful snapping claws.
Tendrils and Limb Loss[]
If any of Cykor's limbs are removed, electrically-charged tentacle-like tendrils will coil out of the wound to continue fighting.
Durability[]
Cykor is able to withstand heavy damage and even survives decapitation, sprouting tendrils of of its severed neck and continuing to fight.

Its Japanese name Sasorigesu was presumbably based on Japanese name of "scorpion" (サソリ, sasori).
