Coincidentally, Gamera and Yonggary followed similar histories where both titular characters initially appeared as a threat to humanity, favoring dances in Showa era, but became artificial lifeforms in Heisei era, and their primary fiery weapons was changed from Fire Breath in Showa era to Fireball in Heisei era. Yonggary also became a redeemed hero in Heisei era.
