Gamera is a kaiju that was intended to appear in the 2002 Japanese film Godzilla vs. Gamera.

Because a script was never made, it is unknown what role this incarnation of the character would have played. Though the title does suggest that he would have battled Godzilla. The film was shot down by Toho however, and Toho went on to make Godzilla: Tokyo SOS and Kadokawa made Gamera the Brave in 2006.
