Bowser bears notable characteristic remembrances to Gamera; turtle-based characters with fangs, fir-breathing abilities, spinning rapidly for flight and attack, and so on. Especially within comics and Super Smash Bros., Bowser has been repeatedly referenced to Gamera.[3]
