Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira?) is a daikaiju who first appeared in the 1954 Toho film, Godzilla. Godzilla has crossed over with the Gamera series multiple times, most notably the 1970 stage show Godzilla vs. Gamera, an unmade 2002 film of the same name, and Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman! A Giant set of Monster quizzes!!.
History[]
Godzilla franchise[]
Godzilla first appeared in the 1954 film, Gojira, where he was a villainous monster who tried to get revenge on humanity for horribly mutating him with nuclear radiation. Since then, Godzilla is usually portrayed as an anti-hero, or sometimes a straight up hero, similar to Gamera. He has gone through multiple iterations, including the popular MonserVerse, a cinematic universe between him and King Kong.

Atomic breath[]
Godzilla's signature ability is a ray of blue heat that comes from his mouth. The beam is 20,000 degrees Celsius. Godzilla is sometimes able to shoot a more powerful version, known as the Spiral Heat Ray, it is more crimson in color, and as the name implies, it is in the shape of a spiral.

Godzilla is able to expel radiation in another way; shooting out of his entire body. Godzilla rarely uses this ability and it has only appeared in the Heisei and MonsterVerse films.
