Kan Shimozawa (子母澤 寛 Shimozawa Kan?), born Umetani Matsutaro (梅谷 松太郎 Matsutaro Umetani?) was a Japanese novelist best known for writing the Zatoichi series. he Received the 10th Kikuchi Kan Prize.
